I think i can i think i can.

First of all, I would like to wave my paw at 'WW' for sending this picture to 'D'.

'D' showed it to me, and I thought it was puuurrrfect for my blog.

I feel like this the kitty in the picture some days. I believe you humans have felt this way too. Treading the water of life. With all that is going on in the country (recession (or depression ... depends on whom you talk to), the election, food prices, health care, etc. etc.) I do believe that most of you feel this way.

I wish I had some words of wisdom for you, but alas I do not.

Because .......

Sometimes a wet cat is just a wet cat.

Heat Wave

Time for a poem.

Heat Wave .... By Keldan

The air is still - the air is hot.
I'm buring up - and do you know what?
Can't find water in where it should be.
'D' moved the bowl, oh whoa is me.

Up the stairs in search of a drink.
I spy the white, clean bathroom sink.
No water there, it does not drip.
I lost my balance, oh no I slip.

Into the toilet, the bowl I fall.
It's full of water - I'm having a ball.
Now I'm all wet - but now I'm cool.
Then I was nicknamed - the kitty bowl fool!

-the end.

The water bowl.

I love my water bowl. It isn't anything fancy, just a plain, plastic (actually cheap plastic), blue bowl. It holds enough water. I just love it. To be honest, I would love any water bowl. Not because it's a bowl, you understand. There is a much more important reason that I love my water bowl. You see, if I could drink out of a water glass like humans do, I think that I would be considered a marvel among cats. What cat can actually drink out of a water glass? The round top is much too small to get my face into, to lap at the water. So how would I drink out of a water glass. It's quite simple. I would have to learn how to hold the glass between my paws, tilt it to my mouth, and drink .... like humans do. I would NEVER EVER learn how to to that! The reason is quite simple. If I could pick up a drinking glass in that way, the humans would have be washing the dishes - and that just wouldn't do at all. So I love my water bowl. It's not that you cannot teach a cat a 'trick', it's just that we do not want to learn. It would cut into my time of leisure.
