Oh The Humanity (or Catmanity)!

I'm not really a political feline ...... but c'mon guys!

Does anyone know how much money is spent, by-for-on canidates, for an election??????
I do believe it is an obscenely amount of $$$$$.

Does one realize how much that money would come in handy for the kitties (and kiddies)???
Ohhhhhh don't get me started!!!!! Kitties and kiddies are only the tip of the iceberg!

I will never under humans! I am amazed that most of the human population isn't on the edge right now!

Okay okay okay. I've gotten off my soupbox (for the time being).

Let's get on with my kitty blog.

. Today .... I ate a bug.

The End.

A Buzzing Fly

Just a simple question, mind you. This is for all of you humans out there in cyberworld.

Why does it take a number of humans to kill one, little, itty, bitty flying insect? I mean, you run around with rolled up newspapers, flyswatters, shoes, bags, magazines, brooms and mops - swinging wildly to squash some flying bug or wasp. It's rather funny to watch. I am so surprised that big ole humans, are so afraid of a flying bug, that you have to chase it around the entire house with some type of weapon, to squash it.

Me? I stalk, jump, pounce and WHAM! The deed is done.

You humans waste way too much energy!

Some snow, then warm.

We did get some snow the other day. Beautiful, white snow. Of course 'D&D' prefer NOT to have snow, but I think it looks pretty. Cold but pretty. And today it was over 50 degrees outside. I could see that spring was around the corner just by looking out the window. I can hardly wait.

Of course I will not be allowed outside - but I will be able to sit on the kitchen counter to look out the door to see the birdies and such.

Cats get spring fever too you know. It's not just a human thing.

And the most fun part about springtime, is that bugs get into the house.

And 'crunch crunch crunch' it's snack time for Keldan!

DoodleBug

I have this toy that I like to play with. It's really a toy, attached to a string. Didn't come that way, 'D' made it. The other 'D' calls it a 'doodlebug'. He pulls it along the floor and I pounce on it. When he holds it high in the air, I jump for it. It's really fun! I do like that game.

But is DoodleBug really a word? I do know what a bug is. An ant, a beetle, a bee ... they are all bugs. But for the life of me I don't know what a doodle is. I know what a noodle is - but I think that it is something entirely different. Besides a noodle is sloppy and wet. Don't think I could bat that thing around.

Oh, and a Doodle is something you humans draw on a piece of paper. You know - doodling. But I don't think that is what is meant by 'D'. Because a drawing on a piece of paper and a beetle, wouldn't be a DoodleBug.

Maybe it's a made up word. Like 'tarnation' is. I'm sure you have heard that expression. "What in tarnation are you doing?" And we know that 'tarnation' isn't a country made of tar. It's just a silly word.

Most words are silly, aren't they.

A piece of advise. If you are out on a blind date, and your blind date uses the word 'tarnation', you best beat feet to the door and leave them in the dust. Who knows, what other words they may utter.

I've seemed to have gotten off the track.

Doodlebug.

I do love playing with my doodlebug.
